A regional law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to lead its Liverpool team. The ideal candidate will manage complex cases including Employment Tribunal Proceedings. Opportunities are available for various experience levels, with a focus on strong business development abilities. The firm provides a competitive salary range from £50,000 to £130,000 based on experience and qualifies for a permanent position.
Our client is a well-established, Regional Law Firm set to expand in Liverpool. To complement the Employment Team in wider regional locations, it is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer to lead in Liverpool and is also recruiting associate solicitors to drive growth.
The firm is progressive and professionally managed. It is instructed by a diverse range of regional and UK businesses and enjoys an excellent reputation with referrers such as accountants and IPs.
The pre-existing Employment Team is retained largely by employers. Offering a full service, the department manages Employment Tribunal Proceedings, High Court Litigation and Injunctions as well as non-contentious support to clients. Recent instructions have surrounded whistleblowing and post termination restraints. It is regularly instructed on issues such as performance management and negotiating settlements and exits. The team also provides support to corporate colleagues on transactions and restructuring.
With key hires already in place in other disciplines, we would be delighted to hear from experienced Employment Law specialists, who have the experience and gravitas to help grow the team in Liverpool. Applications at associate level are also welcome to support this expansion. At a senior level, whilst a following would be desirable, we would also be delighted to speak with local specialists who enjoy business development and would relish an opportunity such as this.
ALL ENQUIRIES WILL BE TREATED IN THE STRICTEST OF CONFIDENCE. Please contact Tracy Lock if you wish to discuss further.
We encourage you to apply for any job for which you feel you are a suitable candidate. References to post qualification experience (PQE) are given as a guideline to the competences required for technical, client and case management skills, as well as budgeted salary for the role.
