Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.

Working 37 hours per week, within the employee support team, you will provide advise and support to managers and employees on employment and payroll matters.

Requirements
  • Hold 3 National 4 passes or equivalent to include Maths and English.
Responsibilities

To assist in all tasks associated with the delivery of staffing, training & staff development and payroll services within Leisure & Culture Dundee (The Organisation).

The Individual
  • Prior experience of working in a busy office with a working knowledge of using Excel including formulas.
  • Experience in a staffing/payroll role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Problem solving ability, including the ability to identify issues and resolve in a timely manner.
  • Ability to interpret information, plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, and have good attention to detail with good IT skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal with interruptions, approachable, stay calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
  • High level of confidentiality required for this post.
