A leading hospital trust in England is seeking a qualified professional for the Urgent Care team. The role involves autonomous assessment and treatment of patients with minor illnesses or injuries, maintaining comprehensive patient records, and providing clinical supervision to junior practitioners. Candidates should possess the ability to work flexibly in a 24/7 shift pattern and ensure compliance with relevant standards. This position is vital for enhancing patient care in our community.
The post holder will autonomously undertake assessment and treatment of patients in the Urgent Care who may present with minor illnesses or injuries, establishing a clinical diagnosis, providing treatment, and arranging appropriate discharge. Comprehensive patient records will be maintained in line with NMC and HCPC standards, Trust policies, and the electronic patient records system.
