A leading hospital trust in England seeks an Emergency Department Technician to assist in high-quality patient care in the Accident & Emergency department. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level III in Health Care and skills in communication, phlebotomy, and cannulation. Responsibilities include assisting clinical staff, performing routine observations, and engaging with patients to provide excellent care. Competitive salary and permanent contract offered.

To work as part of the multi‑disciplinary team to provide high quality care to patients attending the Accident & Emergency department by assisting the nursing and medical staff in performing clinical investigations set out in this job description. The post holder will work in all acute areas of the department, responding to the needs of the department. Reporting to the Shift leader, the Emergency Department Technician will be allocated tasks by the area coordinator.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
