A global leader in specialty chemicals is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for Packaging Technologies in EMEA. The role involves driving profitable growth, managing client accounts, and delivering technical support within the paper manufacturing sector. Ideal candidates will have a technical background, account management experience, and the ability to travel approximately 50% across EMEA, with a focus on the UK. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical Degree or qualification in process, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience in paper manufacturing is preferred.
• Proven account management experience.
• Strong ability to identify sales opportunities and negotiate contracts.
• Willingness to travel and visit customers in EMEA (Approx. 50%) with a specific focus in UK.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for client and internal interactions.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize and drive new business opportunities for existing & new products.
• Oversee all aspects of client accounts, including onboarding and service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of technical requirements within the paper manufacturing sector.
• Address client concerns efficiently, resolving issues as necessary.
• Work independently on customer sites, managing chemicals and equipment safely.

Skills
