Are you skilled in wiring and passionate about automation? Actemium Automation Eltek is seeking a dedicated Wireperson to join our dynamic team.

About the role

Supporting the Workshop Manager and team to assemble metal enclosures and wire electrical components. You will execute precise wiring tasks for control systems projects in the snack industry. The role involves international travel, predominantly assisting and overseeing projects around the world, accounting for approximately 30% of your working year.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assembling stainless and mild steel enclosures
• Laying out chassis plates using measuring tape, ruler, drills, taps, and rivets
• Wiring electrical components to specified drawings using stripping and crimping tools
• Travel within the UK and abroad as required by projects

The Person:

• Level 3 Electrical Engineering - City and Guilds
• Experience in electrical wiring
• Ability to build metal panels and enclosures to high standards, meeting deadlines and complying with industry and customer standards and regulations
