A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a motivated Research Nurse to join the ELoPE CVD Prevention team. You will lead and coordinate evaluations of health checks offered to staff, ensuring quality research delivery. As part of a multidisciplinary team passionate about CVD prevention, you will support initiatives to improve staff health and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Nurse to join the ELoPE CVD Prevention team at Barts NHS Trust. We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual who is willing to lead and support the delivery of high quality research. As a Research Nurse you will lead, coordinate and deliver the evaluation of staff health checks being offered trust wide to Barts NHS Trust staff. These checks will be delivered by Nuffield Health and the post holder will be responsible for supporting and encouraging members of staff to access this health check and carry out follow up appointments with them. Excellent communication skills are key as the post holder will be expected to deliver regular highlight reports to internal groups and wider stakeholders.
The ELoPE (East London Cardiovascular Disease Prevention) group was established in 2016 within Barts NHS Health Trust to deliver an ambitious strategy for reducing CVD mortality and morbidity and health inequality across East and North-East London (NEL). You will be joining a multidisciplinary team with expertise in cardiology who are passionate about CVD prevention. ELoPE has developed several workstreams spanning primary and secondary care in addition to many community outreach initiatives. A current area of focus for ELoPE is staff CVD health, alongside the research you will also support ELoPE and the wider CVD prevention efforts.
