Qualifications

• Driving and operating a wide range of general and specialist vehicles.
• Transporting recruits and station personnel between units and the local area.
• Carrying out detailed monthly checks of the vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities

• Make sure RAF personnel, equipment, and vehicles get to the right place at the right time.
• Prepping the vehicle fleet for graduation days.
• Reporting defects to the Transport Control Office.

Skills

Experience of driving a variety of vehicles

Sound knowledge of Driver's Hours Regulations

Computer literate; basic IT skills

Good diplomacy skills

Ability to engage with internal and external personnel

Enjoy driving to various parts of the UK

Education

CAT B Licence

Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) DVLA Licence Category C
