Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider in Colchester is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to join its Engineering Test team. In this role, you'll test new and existing electronic products to ensure they meet specifications before release. You should have at least 4 years of experience in testing, strong hands-on skills in both analogue and digital electronics, and be proficient in C++. The position offers a salary range of £28k-£37k.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and signal generators.

We are looking for an experienced Etroniclecs Test Engineer to join our Engineering Test team. You will be responsible for testing new and existing electronic products to ensure they meet required specifications prior to release.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and validate new and legacy electronic products
• Carry out measurements, fault finding, and debugging
• Solve complex technical issues independently
• Develop C++ applications for engineering and production test systems

Requirements

• HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 4 years' experience in electronics testing
• Strong hands‑on experience with analogue and digital electronics
• Working knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and signal generators
• C++ (or similar) programming experience for automated testing (training available)

Desirable

• Degree in a related engineering discipline
