We’re working with a leading intellectual property firm that is looking to expand its growing Electronics and Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified Patent Attorney seeking high-quality work, supportive training, and genuine career progression.

The Role

You’ll join a team with a strong reputation in electronics, telecommunications, software, and engineering technologies. The firm offers a broad client base, ranging from global corporations to exciting start-ups, ensuring you’ll gain exposure to a varied and technically stimulating caseload.

Day-to-day, you will:

Draft and prosecute patent applications before the UKIPO, EPO, and other jurisdictions.

Assist with oppositions, appeals, and contentious matters.

Work closely with clients, providing strategic advice on patent portfolios and IP strategy.

Collaborate with senior attorneys who are committed to your development and qualification.

About You

A degree in electronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline.

Part qualified, having already passed some of the UK or European exams.

A strong technical background with excellent communication skills.

Ambitious and motivated to complete your qualification and progress within the firm.
