Electronics / Senior Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a world-leading team delivering cutting-edge solutions for extreme environments. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in sectors where reliability and innovation save lives.

Role

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full engineering lifecycle from shaping concepts, solving technical challenges, and ensuring long-term product support. Your work will span:

  • Designing new electronic systems and upgrading existing ones to meet demanding client needs.
  • Producing detailed specifications, bills of materials, test procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Acting as a technical authority, reviewing and approving engineering designs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in sales, supply chain, and production to deliver the best solutions.
  • Driving projects to completion on time, on budget, and in line with international standards.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a high-performing, engaged team culture.
About You

You’re not just an engineer, you’re a problem solver who thrives on challenge. You’ll need to bring:

  • A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong circuit design and embedded systems experience (STM32 or similar).
  • Hands-on knowledge of PCB schematic capture and layout (ideally with Altium).
  • Understanding of EMC compliance, CE marking, and functional safety standards.
  • Familiarity with design standards (IPC) and class society rules (LR, DNV) is a big plus.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and documentation skills.
  • The ability to balance detail with deadlines, adapting quickly when requirements shift.
