Job summary

A leading manufacturing organization in Sunbury-on-Thames is looking for an experienced Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Technician. You will handle assembly operations including electronic assembly and PCB soldering. The role supports ongoing improvements to product quality and productivity. Shift timings are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a salary range of £28k to £32k per annum. This is a permanent position offering a chance to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assembly operations including electronic assembly and PCB soldering.
• Conduct in-process inspection and testing.
• Carry out sealing and finishing operations.
• Perform calibration operations.
• Champion 5S and Standard Work to maintain product quality.
• Support internal Management System audits.
• Engage in continuous improvement for product quality.
• Assist in prototype build and special projects.
• Support New Product Introduction and Material Handling.
• Assist in automated printed circuit board assembly.
• Participate in materials handling and storage duties.

Overview

Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Technician – Sunbury-upon-Thames. Proactive Global is hiring for experienced Electromechanical/Electronic Technicians with hands-on work experience with mechanical and electronic components for a leading manufacturing organisation in Sunbury-on-Thames. This is a Permanent Position.

Shift Timings: Mon–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary: £28k – £32k per annum

Responsibilities

• All assembly operations including electronic assembly, PCB soldering, wiring, etc.
• In-process inspection & test.
• Sealing & finishing operations.
• Calibration operations.
• Champion 5S & Standard Work to maintain and improve product quality and factory productivity.
• Support internal Management System audits (ISO 9001 / 14001).
• Support continuous improvement in product quality and factory productivity.
• Support proto-type build & special projects.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Any reasonable task in Manufacturing, including Store & Logistics, PCBA and Main Production.
• Support automated printed circuit board assembly.
• Support materials handling & storage, including cycle counting.
