Overview

Electronic Design Supervisor — Permanent · North Somerset · Up to £55,000

Electronic Design Supervisor required by a leading engineering company, based in North Somerset. The successful candidate will provide leadership, support and training to the Electronic Design Team in addition to the design of electronic circuits.

Main Duties

• Project planning and leading daily team meetings.
• Advising team members of company design strategies.
• Preparing and presenting proposals.
• Providing technical support and training to the team.
• Design, new product development and through life cycle support of digital and analogue circuits.
• Liaising with customers to understand requirements and integrating these into designs.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure that correct procedures are followed.
• Carrying out detailed electronic circuit design and testing.
• Ensuring that Health and Safety standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• A background within a similar role, providing leadership to a team.
• Experience of using Altium software or similar.
• Previous experience of working with electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Proficient with analogue and digital circuit design.
• Experience of designing mixed technology multi layer PCBs.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
