A leading defence organization in the UK is seeking an Electro-Optical Design Engineer to join their Seeker Design Department. You will engage in the design and development of cutting-edge Electro-Optical systems, utilizing tools such as Zemax and PTC Creo. The role supports hybrid working conditions and offers substantial benefits, including a company bonus, pension contributions, and enhanced parental leave. Candidates must hold British citizenship or dual nationality with UK citizenship.
We have an opportunity to join our Seeker Design Department as an Electro‑Optical Design Engineer, supporting the design, development and delivery of some of the most cutting‑edge Electro‑Optical Seekers, sensors and optical systems available.
The successful applicant will join our specialist optical design team within the Electro‑Optics Systems group and work within a multi‑disciplinary, highly skilled and experienced team that will support you in delivering our commitments.
Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, a minimum of 3 days per week on‑site, due to workload classification.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After the offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
