Job summary

A large manufacturing business in the UK is seeking an experienced ElectroMechanical Engineer to manage the running, repairs, and maintenance of production equipment. The role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 plus overtime, involving a shift pattern with an average of 3.5 days off per week. Qualifications

  • Relevant training or have served an apprenticeship.
  • Recognised industrial Electrical qualification preferable.
  • Experience working on drives and PCB's.
  • Ability to work solo diagnosing and repairing tasks.
  • Competent to operate a lathe, MIG/TIG is a plus.
  • Experience within Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day running, repairs and maintenance of equipment.
  • Breakdown repairs and continuous improvement tasks.
  • Ordering of spares and general site facility tasks.

Experience with drives and PCBs
Ability to work solo
Competent to operate a lathe
MIG/TIG welding skills
Experience as a multiskilled engineer
Excellent communication skills
Strong numeracy and literacy
