A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Electro–Mechanical Design Engineer in Crewe. This hybrid role requires proficiency in both mechanical and electrical design to deliver comprehensive solutions within the rail sector. Candidates should possess design authority experience and a relevant degree or HND, with an advantage for those having a background in production. The role offers a salary of up to GBP47,000 plus a car allowance.
The Situation
An engineer with expertise across mechanical and electrical disciplines is required to join a rail industry expert. The engineer may be either mechanically or electrically biased; the role combines electrical and mechanical design disciplines to deliver complete engineered solutions, including cabinet layouts, electrical schematics, component selection, and integration of control hardware. The role will be involved from cradle to grave; the engineer will design products for the power products team.
