Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to understand the parts, drawings, and bill of materials.
• Desire to learn different product lines and Lean manufacturing.
• Ability to work effectively in a fixed capacity production line.
• Extremely attentive to accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Function in a Lean manufacturing environment, adding value by reducing waste.
• Understand assembly/test parts using drawings and bill of materials.
• Use common hand and power tools including specialized tools.
• Follow documented procedures in fitting, adjusting, and functioning of parts.
• Meet job completion and ship dates.
• Report defective materials to the production supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the area.
• Assist in other manufacturing cells as required.
• Assembly requires medium to heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
