  • Meet job completion and ship dates.
  • Report defective materials to the production supervisor.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of the area.
  • Assist in other manufacturing cells as required.
  • Assembly requires medium to heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.

Position Overview

Comark, Milford, MA is seeking a highly motivated Electro‑Mechanical Assembler with personal standards of performance to support our growing manufacturing operations. This person reports to the Milford base Manufacturing Supervisor.

Job Description

The Electro‑Mechanical Assembler works in a one‑piece flow cell performing bench‑type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools. This is for the specialized computers and displays and requires assembling ESD‑sensitive delicate components and cables. Positive attitude and team player. Ability to read and write English. Able to work with limited supervision in a team environment. Demonstrate knowledge/capability to build and possibly do limited testing on units on the manufacturing floor. Technical capacity—ability to understand the parts, drawings and bill of materials (BOM). Learning orientation—ability/desire to learn different product lines and Lean manufacturing. Time management—ability to work effectively in fixed capacity production line. Thoroughness—extremely attentive to accuracy and detail. Team player—works well as a member of a team or a group.
