Job description

My client in the Hemsworth area of Barnsley are looking for x 2 Electricians.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installation work efficiently, ensuring work installed is compliant with the National Working Rules for Electrical Contacting Industry and other relevant legislations.
  • Ensure all work is installed in a safe manner that will not present harm or danger to yourself or others.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand/power tools.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, and diagrams.
  • Glanding and terminating to circuit breakers, transformers, or other electrical apparatus components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
Key Skills and Experience Required
  • Must have been a registered apprentice or undergone some equivalent method of training and have had practical training in electrical installation work.

  • First Aid certification

  • Fully qualified electrician
  • Must hold a valid CSCS or ECS card
  • Travel may be necessary.
