Job Title: Electrician - Renewable Energy (Permanent Role) Cannock | 40 hours per week | Competitive Salary

Your Role

As part of our client2s renewable energy team, you'll be installing, testing, and commissioning domestic and commercial solar PV systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Working confidently with DC and AC circuits, inverters, isolators, and fault finding
  • Using remote monitoring systems, data loggers, and apps
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols, RAMS, UK building regulations, and DNO requirements
  • Reporting unsafe or non-compliant installations
  • Carrying out a full range of electrical works safely and correctly
  • Travelling regionally (or nationally where required) with travel time included in working hours
  • Being flexible for occasional overtime or weekend work
What We Need From You
  • Recognised Electrical apprenticeship and/or full electrical qualifications (Essential)
  • 18th Edition I.E.E. certification (Essential)
  • MCS Accreditation knowledge or experience (Microgeneration Certification Scheme)
  • Solar PV Qualifications (one Of The Following)
    • City & Guilds 2399 - Solar Photovoltaic Installation
    • LCL Awards Level 3 Award in Solar PV Systems
    • BPEC Solar PV Installer Course
  • ECS Gold Card (or willingness to obtain before start date)
  • Knowledge of PAS 2030, G98/G99 regulations, and retrofit/funded work (preferred)
  • Previous experience in solar PV or renewables (training available)
  • Full UK driving licence (under 7 points)
  • Own full set of tools
  • A genuine passion for sustainability and innovation
