Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrician to work on a social housing contract, carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across occupied and void properties.

This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work, working on behalf of a well-established contractor within the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out EICR testing and inspections in social housing properties
  • Completing electrical testing, fault finding, and minor remedial works
  • Accurately completing certification and reports using handheld devices
  • Working in occupied homes with a professional and customer-focused approach
  • Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 (18th Edition) regulations
  • Liaising with tenants, supervisors, and office staff as required
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • 2391 / 2394 & 2395 or equivalent inspection & testing qualification
  • EICR experience (essential)
  • NICEIC / NAPIT registered (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working in social housing / domestic properties
  • DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
