Electrical Technician / Maintenance Electrician

Base Salary: £36,563 per annum (based on a 37.5-hour working week)

With Overtime: Circa £50,000 per annum (based on a 45-hour working week, at time and half before on call)

Multitask Personnel are excited to be supporting a long-established building services contractor as they expand their team, delivering essential works in the hospitality sector.

Job Description

The Electrical Technician / Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for providing both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites and sectors. Key duties include:

  • Delivering PPM, reactive repairs and small installations across systems including lighting, distribution boards, alarms, pumps, motors, BMS, PAT, HVAC and EV systems
  • Fault-finding, repairs, alterations, and electrical testing in line with legislation
  • Responding to reactive callouts and participating in the on-call rota
  • Preparing quotes for installation and repair works
  • Updating CAFM system records accurately
  • Ensuring compliance with SLAs and site safety regulations
  • Representing the company professionally and using resources sustainably
  • Carrying out other reasonable duties within the role
  • Liaising with the Health & Safety Forum and HR to support Learning and Development, in line with site safety regulations
  • Ensuring sustainable use of resources and recycling where possible
  • Representing the company professionally and positively to internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertaking any other duties required by the business within the scope of the role
Qualifications & Experience
  • NVQ Level 3, AM2, City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and installation
  • Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain a wide range of electrical systems to recognised standards with minimal supervision
