Job Title: Electrician and Electrical Improver (Contract)

Location: Oxford, OX2

Duration: 3 Months

Rate: £180 - £240 per day

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our project team on a student accommodation development in Oxford (OX2). This is a contract position for an initial 3-month period, with competitive day rates on offer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works to a high standard, ensuring compliance with regulations, site safety, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical installation works on student accommodation projects.
• Install containment, wiring, lighting, small power, and distribution systems.
• Read and work from technical drawings and site plans.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.
• Collaborate with site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• JIB Gold Card / ECS for improvers
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Proven experience working on residential or student accommodation projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards and regulations.
