  • 2391 Testing & Inspection certification required.
  • Experience with fixed wire inspections is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Respond to reactive maintenance issues.
  • Conduct compliance testing to JSP375.
  • Complete minor electrical installation works.
  • Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.

Electrician

RAF Croughton & RAF Barford St Johns

Salary

£41,000 + On Call bonus (worth £150 per week)

Are you an experienced Electrician looking to take the next step in your career? This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting mission‑critical defence infrastructure across two key RAF sites.

You will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and compliance of commercial, technical, and accommodation facilities – ensuring essential operations continue smoothly and securely.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Responding to reactive maintenance issues
  • Conducting compliance testing to JSP375
  • Completing minor electrical installation works
  • Working across commercial and technical buildings
  • Completing digital reports via a tablet to ensure accurate documentation
  • Participating in a 1-in-4 on-call rota
  • Occasionally using company vehicles to move between sites

This is a hands‑on, varied role where your expertise directly contributes to the smooth running of essential facilities.

Qualifications
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
  • Strong experience in commercial electrical maintenance
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of health & safety, supported by a relevant qualification
Beneficial Experience (Not Essential)
  • Experience with fixed wire inspections
  • PASMA and/or IPAF certifications
