Job summary

A leading service provider based in Stockton is looking for an experienced Electrical Service Technician. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining systems on Anaerobic Digestion Plants across the UK. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems and troubleshooting skills. A full UK driving licence is essential. The role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 and generous benefits including holidays and overtime compensation.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems.
• Excellent electrical testing and diagnosis skills.
• Ability to read Electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Help install, repair and maintain systems on Anaerobic Digestion Plants throughout the UK.
• Fitting new parts and ensuring it is working correctly.
• Reporting of any issues.
• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
• Fault diagnosis.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems

Excellent electrical testing and diagnosis skills

Ability to read Electrical schematics

Experience of electric motors

Experience with PLC'S

Excellent communication skills

Computer literate

Full UK driving licence

Overview

Based in Stockton. The Electrical Service Technician will be expected to travel to multiple locations and a willingness to stay away from home to support the business needs.

Salary and Benefits

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE, 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), Time and a quarter for overtime and a generous on call incentive.

Location and Travel

Willingness to travel to client sites is a must but base will be Stockton when not out on site.
