Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a travelling/Rally role within Motorsport.
  • Strong ability to follow build and operational procedures accurately.
  • Skill in assembling wiring harnesses and electrical components.

The Dacia Sandrider team has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join them in their quest to win the World Rally Raid Championship in the FIA Ultimate T1+ category. You will work with the team to ensure all electrical items, spares and equipment are prepared on time, liaising with the Engineers to ensure cars are signed off electrically to the correct standard. You will also be responsible on events for maintenance of all electrical spares and sign‑off of vehicles for competition. Extended periods of worldwide travel are required for this role.

Key responsibilities
  • Assemble wiring harnesses and electrical components to a high standard.
  • Travel to and assist on Rally events.
  • Keep the No.1 Technician’s informed at all times of any additional work necessary on the cars during build or repair.
  • Ensure all electrical systems are always to the correct specification.
  • Ensure the highest quality whilst meeting tight delivery deadlines.
  • Perform on‑event and workshop duties as required by the Chief Technician.
Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Electrical Technician role, ideally in a travelling/Rally role within Motorsport. You will have a strong ability to understand and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical procedures, and have the ability to follow build and operational procedures accurately. You will have a flexible approach to work and be able to work calmly under pressure.
