Qualifications

Job description
What You'll Do

You'll support current and develop new electrical system designs for Alexander Dennis vehicles, ensuring compliance across global markets and integrating emerging technologies to meet or exceed customer expectations. From concept through to delivery, you'll work on design, development, testing, and documentation of electrical systems.

Requirements

You'll have an HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years' experience, ideally in an automotive environment. You'll be competent in 3D and electrical CAD (E3 & Solid Edge preferred), with a detailed understanding of vehicle electrical systems and controls, including 12V/24V systems. Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a structured environment, and good communication skills are essential.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience in chassis system integration
  • Knowledge of system definition, development, and requirements capture
  • Active interest in vehicle-based technologies and developments
