This Position reports to: Electrical Sales Lead/Functional Electrical

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

  • Work model: hybrid from our St Neots or Aberdeen locations.
  • Manage customer relationships to maintain and expand the opportunity funnel
  • Generate new leads and convert them to orders
  • Stay updated with market intelligence and industry knowledge to identify and act on changing trends
  • Technically evaluate customer RFQs and develop tailored solutions
  • Implement sales strategies to meet targets and drive growth
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain to optimize supplier discounts and terms
  • Use Salesforce and other tools for accurate reporting, forecasting and communication
  • Collaborate across ABB teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Adhere to ABB’s integrity, safety, and quality standards
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally to meet customer and business needs
Qualifications For The Role
  • Degree in Engineering, Technical discipline, or Project Management Certificate
  • Proven experience in electrical systems and technical sales
  • Proven track record in managing RFQs, scope, vendors, and negotiations
  • Strong understanding of integrating electrical systems with control/telecoms
  • Market awareness and ability to interpret trends to create winning strategies
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal and written
  • Collaborative, self-driven, with a passion for professional growth
  • Willingness to travel and meet clients face-to-face
