We are hiring for an Electrical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee lighting and power installation projects within commercial developments, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Duties of an Electrical Project Manager

In this role you will be working within the project delivery team to ensure the smooth management of electrical installations. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing engineers and installation teams on site
  • Attending site and design meetings (internal and external)
  • Controlling and monitoring material and subcontract procurement
  • Providing internal technical support to the sales team
  • Ensuring projects are completed within time, budget, and quality standards
  • Overseeing and resolving any site issues
  • Communicating between key customers and internal teams
  • Ensuring Health & Safety and site-specific requirements are adhered to
  • Supporting compliance with ISO 9001/14001 standards and reporting opportunities for improvement
Skills and Experience of an Electrical Project Manager

As an Electrical Project Manager, you must have:

  • Related electrical & technical qualifications (18th Edition Wiring Regulations – Essential)
  • Supervisory/management experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or office environments
  • Experience managing projects up to £1 million
  • Previous experience within the Building Services sector (Essential)
  • Strong written communication skills

It would be beneficial to the Electrical Project Manager role if you also had:

  • Knowledge of PV and EV charging
  • Experience with contract variations
  • Related Building Services or Solar PV qualifications
  • IPAF licence
