Job summary

A recruitment agency based in Sheffield is seeking a Panel Wirer for an ongoing temporary position. Qualifications

  • Good knowledge and technical skills in wiring and assembling electrical panels.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow schematic diagrams accurately.
  • Knowledge of Electrical systems.
  • Understanding of electrical regulations such as 18th Edition.
  • Experience in electrical manufacturing or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly of electrical switchgear and related equipment.
  • Reading and following engineering drawings and production notes.
  • Maintain high-quality standards.
  • Working from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Support other team members, share expertise and best practice.
  • Report any malfunctioning, or defective parts.

Skills

Good knowledge and technical skills in wiring and assembling electrical panels
Ability to read, interpret and follow schematic diagrams
Knowledge of Electrical systems
