The ideal candidate will have a formal qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, strong electrical experience from FMCG, and good technical skills. The role involves responding to breakdowns, collaborating with departments for site improvements, and carrying out projects for effective engineering installations. This contract position offers a rate of £37+ per hour, with shifts covering days, afternoons, and nights.

Qualifications

• A formal qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong electrical experience in FMCG.
• Experience with controls and fault finding.
• Background in reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Technical ability related to automation hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdowns, both electrically and mechanically.
• Work with other departments to improve site performance.
• Analyze data and improve equipment performance.
• Involve in projects for engineering installs and commissioning.
• Conduct PLC fault finding.
