Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Rugby is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to conduct planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns. This role offers a salary of £48,200 plus benefits and involves a 4 on / 4 off rotation with 12-hour shifts. Candidates should have relevant electrical qualifications and experience in manufacturing, preferably within heavy industry.

Overview

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - £48,200 plus benefits

4 on / 4 off rotation - 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am).

16-day break every 6 weeks as part of the rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond effectively to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Adhere to and promote all site Health & Safety, environmental, and maintenance policies and procedures.
• Support the implementation of maintenance strategies to enhance plant reliability and performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, and process instrumentation is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship completed, HND, HNC, OND, ONC, City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical conversion to Electrical
• General Manufacturing, FMCG, automotive preferably heavy industry
