Job summary

A leading engineering company in the UK is seeking an experienced Electrical / Instrumentation Technician for a days-based role in St Helens. You will be responsible for maintenance support at the main plant and local sites, working with a skilled team on advanced engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in high and low voltage systems and a background in chemicals or a similar field. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £65,000 plus additional call-out allowance and benefits including generous holiday entitlement and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Electrically biased engineer with relevant technical experience.
  • Experience in high/low voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with the chemicals or a similar industry is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance support for the St Helens plant and local satellite plants.
  • Supervise contract sites and planned/preventative maintenance.
  • Work Monday to Friday, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.

St Helens, Merseyside (Commutable from: Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester, Runcorn, Wigan, Preston).

Are you an Electrical / Instrumentation Technician, looking for a days based role, where you will work on state of the art projects for one of the worlds largest and reputable engineering companies?

In this role you will provide maintenance support for the companies ST Helens plant, as well as local satellite plants.
