A specialist manufacturer in the UK is seeking an Electrical Fitter to install and test electrical systems on bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles. The role requires proven electrical fitting experience and the ability to interpret electrical diagrams. Full training is provided, and the position offers a stable, long-term opportunity in a supportive team environment.

Their range includes refuellers, hydrant dispensers, bowsers, and other bespoke fuelling systems supplied to airports and aviation operators across the world.

As an Electrical Fitter, you'll be responsible for the installation, wiring, and testing of electrical systems on bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles and related equipment.
This is a hands‑on position working on a variety of complex electrical assemblies. Full training is provided, giving you the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within the aviation refuelling sector.
Carry out electrical wiring, assembly, and installation on refuelling vehicles and equipment
Work from electrical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate builds
Fit and connect control panels, lighting, sensors, and electrical harnesses
Perform electrical testing and fault finding during and after installation
Collaborate with mechanical fitters and design engineers to meet project specifications
Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and Health & Safety procedures
Proven experience in electrical fitting, wiring, or panel assembly (preferably within vehicle, machinery, or equipment manufacturing)
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
Competent in fault finding and electrical testing
Basic understanding of Health & Safety practices
Full UK driving licence
Experience working on special-purpose vehicles or HGVs
Knowledge of pneumatic or hydraulic control systems
Background in aviation or ground support equipment (advantageous but not essential)
Full specialist training and product familiarisation provided
