Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team. This role supports ongoing projects and future programmes with a focus on electrical installations. The position allows for remote work with occasional visits to client sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in design assessments and the ability to provide technical justifications for electrical modifications. SC Clearance is required due to project security protocols.

Electrical Engineer (Remote)

Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a multi‑disciplinary engineering team within the Approval Authority; the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Experience in the design assessment of electrical installations in a HV or LV environment.
• Experience of producing robust technical justification to allow for relevant electrical design modifications to be authorised.
• Experience using a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology.
• Experience working on multi‑discipline projects providing electrical engineering input.

Location

This role can be performed remotely with occasional visits to the Client site in Helensburgh.

Security Requirements

SC Clearance. Due to the secure nature of this project, restrictions in relation to UK residency and nationality will apply.
