Overview

Job Description. Goals and Deliverables / Objectives & Responsibilities Core Skills HV & LV installation and testing Instrumentation installation and testing Experience Requirement Completed technical training (e.g. CIRA, electricity, etc.) At least 15 years of successful experience in electrical and/or instrumentation roles on industrial complexes.

Responsibilities
  • Within the E&I team, enforce site safety rules in close coordination with HSE.
  • Monitor site progress against the project schedule; proactively alert the site manager of deviations and anticipate upcoming macro-level activities.
  • Oversee all electricity activities on site.
  • Support planning and schedule updates for construction and pre-/commissioning activities.
  • Track and review vendor progress.
  • Ensure assembly compliance with project plans and AL E&C global quality standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate design changes via the issuance of AFCs to control quantities.
  • Assist various design offices as needed.
  • Ensure all on-site inspections occur per inspection plans (aided by the QA/QC, MoS and JSA teams).
  • Lead daily site coordination meetings across all teams.
  • Validate weekly site progress with supervisors using project control tools.
  • Ensure required certifications are obtained for all factory elements.
  • Support the contract specialist in validating or rejecting extra works based on specifications.
  • Collaborate with project team to develop specifications aligned with on-site scope.
  • Conduct quality audits in coordination with the site quality manager.
  • Maintain the quality file as per the validated inspection plan.
  • Capitalize on key learnings (both positive and negative) to create an E&I capitalisation file at project close.
  • Organise weekly engineering meetings to track and resolve anomalies.
