Electrical and Electronics Development Engineer
Are you an Electrical and Electronics Development Engineer looking to take ownership of exciting new product development projects? This growing engineering business is seeking a talented individual to help drive innovation across a unique range of electrical, electronic, ultrasonic and automotive-based systems.

In this position, the Electrical and Electronics Development Engineer will play a key role in designing new products, upgrading existing technologies, and supporting bespoke customer requirements. You’ll be involved in the full product lifecycle — from concept, design and prototyping through to testing, validation and customer support.

The Role
  • Designing and developing new electrical, ultrasonic, electronic, and automotive equipment.
  • Producing prototypes, test programmes, mechanical / electrical drawings, parts lists and full technical documentation.
  • Building test rigs and supporting product testing and verification.
  • Contributing to the improvement of the existing product range, including an upgrade of the company’s ultrasonic deblending systems.
  • Working on research and development programmes in collaboration with leading industry and academic organisations.
  • Managing projects independently or within a multi-disciplinary team to agreed quality and timelines.
  • Communicating with customers to resolve technical issues and support application-specific modifications.
  • Building a strong understanding of the full product portfolio over time.
About You
  • Experience in an electrical / electronic design and development role.
  • Strong engineering knowledge with a good understanding of industry standards and directives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated attitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical and electronic design principles (HMI‑PLC, DOL control systems, sensing / monitoring technology, etc.).
