Job summary

A key engineering recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a 6-month contract in Northwest / East Yorkshire. The ideal candidate should have a strong project background in process engineering, particularly in the oil & gas sector. Responsibilities include preparing electrical designs, coordinating audits, and reviewing specifications. This contract is outside IR35, offering a rate of GBP45.00 – GBP50.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong project background.
• Experience in process engineering is preferred.
• Capability to prepare and review electrical designs and cable calculations.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies from the original proposal.
• Review and check specifications, drawings, and data sheets.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical systems from low to high voltage
