Electrical Design Engineer
Plymouth, Commutable from: Tavistock, Ivybridge, Saltash, Yelverton
Up to 59,280 per annum, dependant on experience + Bonus + Early Finish on Friday + Pension + Extra Benefits

Overview

Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in electrical control systems design to join a market-leading, international manufacturing company.

The company is a well-established, highly regarded manufacturing firm in the Plymouth area with global sites. Renowned for product quality and as a progressive employer, they are currently seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their design team due to growth.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Design control panels, identify obsolete components, source alternatives, and implement design modifications for upgrades.
  2. Analyze downtime faults, determine causes, and develop effective PPM and TPM activities.
  3. Work closely with maintenance teams on system integration, safety circuits, motion control, PLC & HMI programming, and manufacturing robots and standalone machines.
  4. Follow a Monday - Friday schedule, 8am - 4:30pm, with a 3:30pm finish on Fridays.
