Electrical Design Engineer – Water Industry

📍 Bath | 💰 Up to £50,000 + benefits | 🏡 Hybrid (3 office / 2 home)

🚰 A leading MEICA contractor, delivering across the majority of UK water frameworks, with an impressive order book and continued growth, is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join the team.

The Role

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll :

  • Design and deliver control panels, schematics, and layouts from concept through to completion.
  • Ensure projects meet budgets, deadlines, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to keep everything on track.
  • Carry out design calculations, review designs from other disciplines, and help drive quality, safety, and sustainability.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in control panel design / manufacturing.
  • Background in the water industry is highly beneficial but not essential.
  • Knowledge of control systems, LV switchgear, PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical drawing software.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organisational skills.
