Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking an Electrical Assembler in Welwyn. Job description
Electrical Assembler

Location: Ware

Rate: £12.30 per hour

Shift time: 7am - 3pm Monday to Thursday, 7am - 12pm Friday. 40 hours per week (plus some weekend overtime).

Duration: Ongoing work (22 weeks).

The role
  • Assemble / modify and test electrical or electronic products and equipment from computers, test equipment telemetering systems, electric motors, batteries and sophisticated radio communication equipment.
  • Work from technical drawings.
  • Solder, wire, and use torque tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Test completed assemblies for correct operation.
  • Identify and replace defective assembly components.
  • Input data onto the CRM.
  • Heavy lifting involved up to 20 kilos.
  • Work in different departments as needed.
The candidate
  • You have experience in electrical assembly/modify electrical or electronic equipment such as computers, test equipment telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries.
  • Must be able to solder and use torque tools.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours.
  • Light computer skills and ability to read/enter data as required.
  • Need steel toe capped shoes.
