A leading engineering firm in Worcester is seeking an EH&S Compliance & Improvement Coordinator to enhance its health and safety culture. This full-time, on-site role involves developing risk assessments, creating workshop instructions, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Job Title : EH&S Compliance & Improvement Coordinator

Contract : 6-month role (Inside IR35)

Reports To : Asset Planning and Workshop Manager

I am looking for a proactive Workshop EH&S Compliance & Improvement Coordinator for our Engineering Workshop in Worcester. This full-time, on-site position focuses on enhancing our Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) culture and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have EH&S and manufacturing workshop experience and enjoys improving processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain risk assessments for workshop activities and equipment.
  • Create and update Workshop Work Instructions.
  • Propose and implement safety and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage the disposal of obsolete materials as per EH&S policies.
  • Address corrective actions from EH&S audits and inspections.
  • Ensure workshop procedures are clear and consistently followed.
  • Prepare documentation for audits.
  • Maintain accurate EH&S records.
  • Improve and organise the workshop layout following change management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in EH&S, workshop operations, or technical documentation.
