Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care and education for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive. We are preferably looking for a professional who has a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare but would consider an unqualified candidate with the right experience and who is willing to complete a qualification while working with us.

Our full time position would give you the opportunity of working up to full time hours (40 per week) over 4 days, giving you an extra day off each week to support your work-home life balance.

Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  2. Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery setting
  3. Provide excellent childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
  4. Engage children in educational and stimulating activities
Minimum Requirements:
  1. A full and relevant level 2/3 early years qualification as defined by the Department of Education.
  2. DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector
  3. Satisfactory references that cover the last 5 years of employment
  4. Satisfactory responses to our staff suitability declaration
  5. (Preferred) Paediatric 12h first aid certificate, safeguarding training, qualification and one year's post qualifying experience
  6. Proficient in English language, both spoken and written
