Job summary

A local authority service provider is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to deliver effective psychological services to schools, families, and local authorities. The role offers full-time, hybrid work with a daily rate of £650 outside IR35. Candidates must have HCPC registration and a BPS-accredited Doctorate. Educational Psychologist Main Purpose of the Role

To deliver an effective educational psychology service to schools, families, and the local authority by:

• Providing psychological advice for statutory assessments under the SEND Code of Practice.
• Supporting children and young people with special educational needs, emotional or behavioural difficulties, and developmental disorders.
• Promoting inclusive education and well-being through evidence-based interventions.

Educational Psychologist Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and consultations for children and young people.
• Provide psychological advice for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service databases

Educational Psychologist Qualifications & Skills
