Job summary

A local authority service provider is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to deliver effective psychological services to schools, families, and local authorities. The role offers full-time, hybrid work with a daily rate of £650 outside IR35. Candidates must have HCPC registration and a BPS-accredited Doctorate. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing advice for EHCPs, and maintaining records. This is an excellent opportunity for flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

Educational Psychologist Main Purpose of the Role

To deliver an effective educational psychology service to schools, families, and the local authority by:

  • Providing psychological advice for statutory assessments under the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Supporting children and young people with special educational needs, emotional or behavioural difficulties, and developmental disorders.
  • Promoting inclusive education and well-being through evidence-based interventions.
Educational Psychologist Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and consultations for children and young people.
  • Provide psychological advice for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service databases
