Job summary

A community-focused organization in Twickenham is seeking two Education Mental Health Practitioners to join their Mental Health Support Team. Successful candidates will provide support within schools, facilitating mental health strategies for children. This role requires experience with therapeutic interventions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for child wellbeing. Ideal candidates will have completed the appropriate skills course and will work collaboratively with educational staff to improve emotional health outcomes for students.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children and young people having anxiety or mood disorders.
  • Ability to assess risk and conduct therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong organizational skills and flexible work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within schools to implement mental health strategies.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group mental health interventions.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to support emotional health.
