What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have successfully completed your initial teacher training and gained QTS.

• Passion for Primary Education: A genuine desire to foster a love of learning in primary-aged children across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

• Commitment: A dedicated and reliable individual looking for full-time, long-term work to complete your ECT induction. Our aim is to secure you consistent placements within supportive schools.

• Working Hours: Ability to commit to full-time hours, typically 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time.

• SEND Understanding: A willingness to learn and develop your understanding of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

• Key Qualities: Eagerness to learn, adaptable, resilient, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit.

Your Role Will Involve:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

• Assessing, monitoring, and recording the progress of pupils, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel safe and valued.

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively, with guidance and support from experienced colleagues.

• Collaborating closely with your mentor, phase leader, and the SENCO to develop your teaching practice and support all pupils, including those with SEND.

• Actively participating in school meetings, professional development, and your ECT induction programme.
