Consultant Ecologist

Location: Yorkletts, Kent

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000

Pebble Recruitment are currently representing a well-established Environmental Consultancy, who are actively seeking an ambitious Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join their ever-growing team based in either of their Yorkletts, Kent offices. The successful Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team in the Yorkletts, Kent office, carrying out with protected species surveys. Ecologist Position Overview

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Helping to build tenders and create fee quotations
• Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc) with the assistance of seniors where needed
• Managing small to medium-sized projects and some large-sized projects with assistance if needed

Ecologist Position Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
• 1 protected species license (preferred)
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and an understanding of how to apply it correctly
• Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is preferred
