Job Overview

EC&I Commissioning Technician
Reading
12-Month Contract (Night Shift)
Paying up to £54.29p/h (Inside IR35)

Key Responsibilities
  • Adherence to the agreed Commissioning Quality Management System and ensuring that they correctly apply procedures, codes and standards to commissioning activities.
  • Functional inputs to Commissioning Deliverables.
  • Accurately report job status to the Commissioning Manager.
  • Input Commissioning Documentation (including Test Documentation, Commissioning Reservations).
  • Follow SSoWs to undertake works safely and report any issues in this regard.
  • Responsible for the execution of commissioning tests to schedule.
  • Responsible for the satisfactory completion of all commissioning execution records and results, and control of all raw data associated with the tests they carry out.
  • Input to the compilation and review of Commissioning LTQR packages.
  • Contribute to the safe operation of site, including ESH focus cards.
Required Skillset
  • Experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Recognised level 3 qualification in a related engineering/construction subject.
  • Hold an IOSH Working Safely or IOSH Managing Safely or a CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Electrical Commissioning experience.
  • CSCS Affiliated Card.
  • Previous site commissioning experience (nuclear).
  • 18th Edition IEE Regulations (Electrical).
  • Level 3 in Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
  • Knowledge in Loop Testing.
  • Ability to read and interpret Schematic drawings.
