Wehave an exciting opportunity to join our Adult Eating Disorders Team in Herefordshire. The position is permanent and is 0.4 WTE, 15 hours aweek.
Weare seeking a highly motivated, skilled, registered dietician who has either aninterest and/or experience of working with eating disorders and/or mentalhealth. The successful applicant will work within a well-establishedmulti-disciplinary team offering specialist support for people living witheating disorders.
Theservice is a small countywide eating disorder outpatient service that providesclinical management and psychological work for patients with eating disorders. Thepost holder will be based in Hereford but it is essential that applicants canmeet the travel requirement for the post. We can offer flexible and hybridworking arrangements. Training opportunities & supervision will beprovided.
Asa member of this service and as an employee of the Trust the post holders wouldbenefit from:
Accountable fordesignated caseload, working within an evidenced based dietary intervention planand care programme approach.
Assessesand manages nutrition risk effectively.
Workswith patients to identify dietetic goals as part of the overall multidisciplinaryteam plan.
Develops andimplements individual and/or group dietetic interventions, in collaborationwith the patients and MDT to achieve therapeutic goals.
Engages patientsin dietetic related tasks and encourages them in a compassionate manner, toachieve their identified goals.
Monitors andevaluates dietetic treatment in order to measure progress and modifies thedietary intervention plan to ensure effectiveness of clinical interventions.
Provides reportson patients progress at clinical meetings and participates in the clinicaldecision-making process as part of the multidisciplinary team.
Provides advice,education and training to patients, carers and other healthcare staff involvedin patients care.

Accountable for designated caseload.
Assess and manage nutritional risk effectively in communitysettings.
Advise and liaise with inpatient setting such as local acutetrusts and specialist ED collaborative.
Develops and implements individual and/or group dieteticinterventions, in collaboration with the service user(s) and MDT to achievetherapeutic goals.
Monitors and evaluates dietetic interventions modifying themaccording to need.
Works within HCPC Code of Professional Conduct and ProfessionalStandards, accountable for own professional practice including work delegatedto others.
Works within occupational policies, procedures and protocols,using discretion as appropriate.
Participates in regular clinical supervision.
Recognisesown limitations and seeks advice and guidance from more experienced colleaguesas appropriate
