A local educational institution in Burnhope is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join a dedicated nursery team. The successful candidate will support children's emotional and social development and must hold a full Early Years qualification. This is a part-time, temporary position with a salary range of £25,185 - £25,989 pro rata. The role begins as soon as possible, requiring commitment to safeguarding children's welfare and promoting inclusivity.
Langley Moor Schools Federation are seeking to appoint an excellent early years practitioner to join our dedicated and friendly nursery team. The successful candidate will become part of a committed and successful team who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children's pastoral and academic development. Our children need a practitioner who will take an interest in them as individuals and who will ensure that they make excellent progress both emotionally and socially. The successful applicant will be an Early Years Practitioner who meets our essential criteria (and desirable) as outlined in the person specification for this post. Please particularly note the requirement for candidates to hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification. Prospective candidates are warmly invited to visit the setting or arrange an informal telephone call with our Executive or Deputy Headteacher. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
Grade 3, £25,185 - £25,989 pro rata. Part time, 22.5 hours, Term time only plus 2 weeks. Temporary, until 31st August 2026 (in the first instance). Required to start as soon as possible.

Term time only plus two additional weeks' pay is calculated on the basis of the following:
Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years' service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years' service will receive 32 days annual leave. For example: Calculation for employees with less than 5 years' service: 40 weeks (term time plus 2) + 27 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 47 weeks' pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. Calculation for employees with more than 5 years' service: 40 weeks (term time plus 2) + 32 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 48 weeks' pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
